✦ Care instructions: keep your shiny sterling silver from tarnishing by limiting exposure to moisture, harsh chemicals, beauty products, pools, and salt water. It is inevitable that all sterling silver will gradually tarnish but you can slow and reverse this process by cleaning as needed with polishing cloth (included in your order) and storing in a cool, dry place. Ideally in an airtight bag or box with an anti-tarnish strip. (strip also included in your order.)
✦ Oxidized jewelry: Most of these pieces are specifically meant to look weathered and ancient. I have added a patina to them to bring out the details and give the piece a soul. Every piece is unique and the patina can deepen and change with continued wear, particularly with rings. Details and crevices may become even darker, higher textures may become shinier. Almost like the jewelry is alive and changing with us. Be aware that forcefully wiping with a polishing cloth on these pieces will remove the patina from any elevated texture making the silver shinier in these places. Dipping these pieces in any sort of liquid tarnish remover will completely dissolve the patina and likely completely change the look of your jewelry. I would personally advise against using tarnish remover for these particular pieces. Any listing with patina will be labeled as "oxidized sterling silver".
